Tidbits

30 miles in 60 minutes, on rollers. First half hour avg. heart rate at 153, aerobic breathing, no problems. Last ten minutes trying to maintain 31.5 mph started pedaling in "squares" heart rate close to max. at 185, cadence down to 90 rpm, its funny to watch how your body reacts when you hit the "wall", finished at 30.3 mph avg. over the 60 minutes, washed all the lactic acid out with some POM, recommended by Jeff Kerkove, it aint too bad...tonight, back outside

Nice speed dude ! Can you maintain that on the road bike ?

I'm trying to get my average up in the mid 20's.

Don't let the speed fool you Mike, these rollers DO NOT have the flywheel or fan like Krietlers do. I use them for spinning and smoothing out my cadence on the road bike. I think my best ever on the road bike 23 mph for 30 miles

So what did you think of the POM? I've got it on my grocery list this week.

Its actually pretty good tasting, normally all my anti-oxidents come from red wine :), I hope its not akin to drinking large amounts of prune juice

I hear ya on the red wine. I've recently became more of a wine drinker, not really sure how though. I'm willing to give POM a test drive.
